Made-to-order 3D production

Made-to-order 3D production is ideal for small and medium batches of functional parts, when flexibility, short lead times and customisation matter more than mass production.

Clog uses 3D printing as a controlled production process, not just an automated printing service.

When made-to-order production makes sense

  1. Small and medium batches

For limited runs where traditional moulds and tooling aren't cost-effective.

  2. Complex geometries

When the part has geometries that are hard to make with traditional processes.

  3. Production flexibility

When you need quick changes, customisation or multiple versions.

What we produce

We make functional 3D printed parts for real, applied uses.

In particular:

  • technical components
  • spare parts
  • brackets, jigs and fixtures
  • small custom batches

Our production approach

  1. Analysis

Assessment of the application and the functional requirements.

  2. Optimisation

Choice of print settings and material.

  3. Production

Controlled production with a focus on repeatability.

  4. Inspection

Final check of the parts produced.

Limits of the service

Made-to-order 3D production is not suitable for:

  • large-scale mass production
  • parts that require specific certifications
  • applications where the unit cost must be as low as possible

In these cases, 3D printing is not the most suitable production method.
